About Us

St. Andrew’s is a new and dynamic faith community that began in June of 2000. Pastor Dan Melton and his wife Julie moved to the area to start a new church that would be innovative, non-institutional, and friendly.

The result has been the formation of a vibrant congregation that welcomes people who are at a variety of points in their spiritual walk with God. Many who attend are new to the experience of faith; others attended church during childhood. All are united in the common goals of knowing Christ and performing his teachings in the world around them.

By assuming postures of awe and reverence toward God and humble love toward others, St. Andrew’s continues to make new friends and empower people to realize their potential as children of God.

Rev. Daniel Melton graduated from Furman University with a B.A. in Religion and from Fuller Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. Dan is an engaging, relatable speaker who finds ways to bring both scholarship and stories from everyday life together in order to understand and find meaning in the Scriptures.

St. Andrew’s is a transformational outpost of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) that lives out the love of God in community and for the world. The church opened its first physical facility (an 8,000+ sq. ft building) in the summer of 2013.

My friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God! --I John 4:7
