It’s not too late to join in! Information is included below on how to access this important on-ramp to:

—greater peace with yourself;
—a roadmap to experiencing God more powerfully;
—relationship sanity, as you begin to understand what motivates the people around you…especially those close to you.

It’s always been my hope that St. Andrew’s would be a community of people who are not overbearing in terms of their religiosity, but real and authentic and comfortable in their own spiritual skin. It’s exciting to see our faith community taking such powerful steps in that direction!

See you on Sunday at 5:45 p.m. @ The Center….

Dan Melton

P.S. Bring a snack to share!

Our first meeting was a HUGE success!!

WHAT: The Path Between Us (A New Enneagram Course!)
This six-week book study will begin MARCH 1st.  The meetings will be held at The Center from 5:45 to 7:15PM.

WHY: This course will give you tools to improve any relationship in your life by understanding the different ways people relate to one another and to God – and where we get stuck. Our last Enneagram-based class was one of the most popular – and practical – ever held at St. Andrew’s!

HOW: You can begin by either reading or listening to The Path Between Us by Suzanne Stabile TODAY! It is available through and major booksellers in physical or electronic format. Email Elder Dena Borchardt at to register!

Q: Do I need to finish the book before I attend?
A: You and other group participants will get the most out of the course if you are already in the process of reading/listening to (or have completed) the book before you attend. The Path Between Us was selected from the many books on the Enneagram books available because it is straightforward and readable. You can do it!

Q: Do I need to have already attended another Enneagram class before attending?
A: No. In fact, some students of the Enneagram believe that The Path Between Us is an ideal starting point.

Q: What is the connection between the Enneagram and Christian faith?
A: Many people use the Enneagram for a variety of uses. For the Christian, the Enneagram is a powerful tool for spiritual direction, helping us to identify where we get stuck in our relationship with God and others. In addition, Pastor Dan is going to be presenting original content each week to help us connect Scripture with each week’s topic.

Q: I’d like to learn more about my Enneagram number before I attend. What can I do?
A: Discovering one’s place on the Enneagram often takes time, and most people gravitate toward a number first, only to find that deeper understanding leads them elsewhere. The Enneagram Institute website  ( has excellent descriptions of each of the nine Enneagram types. They offer a $15 test (possibility the best one out there) called the RHETI to help you narrow down your options.

Q: Is this a marriage course?
A: Married couples will benefit greatly from this course. However, we will be discussing dynamics that apply to any relationship (family, work, social, etc.).

Q: Is child care available?
A: Elder Dena Borchardt is making child care available – please email her at for arrangements.

Q: Where can I learn more about The Path Between Us?
A: See this web site for more information, videos, and a podcast link:

Q: How long is the course? Do I have to attend every meeting?
A: We will be meeting for six weeks each Sunday night from March 1 – April 5. Session, including snack time, run from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. It is recommend that you attend as many sessions as you can to get the most out of the course!

Q: Can I bring a friend who doesn’t go to St. Andrew’s?
A: Yes! The course is open to anyone.

Q: Should I bring anything?
A: Bring your book for reference during the course if possible; also bring a snack to share!
